Be Confident in your Ability

This morning while sitting at my desk, I began to read past blogs on this site. As I read I was surprised that I was able to write such words of wisdom and encouragement. Not to boast but I was blessed by this collection of ideas and concepts of empowerment. While reading I got the idea for today's post.

Some individuals never achieve greatness because they do not believe that what they have is good enough. Please know what you have to offer is what you have to offer. God has entrusted us all with a gift. Your gifting may not be as polished as others but it still has great value. So trust in your Godly ability and talent, and watch as your wildest dreams and aspirations come to past.

For a example take Hip Hop star Solja Boy Tellem, he started with a dream and some cheap music equipment. Not musically talented at all, he produced music that he liked and now he is worth millions of dollars, all because he believed in his own talent. With all that said here is a simple word inspiration. " You Can Do It "

My bday

So this weekend was my bday. I was really hopped up on happy. You know how it is when u expect a whole lot. But I realized that I was happy for the wrong reasons. I was happy over things, and did not take time to realize that I have been given a chance to embark on another 25 years of family, friends, relationship, business and most impotantanly growing closer to God. So my thought for today is this. " never get so emersed in something you will receive , that you neglect what you already been given".

Really

It has become more and more apparent to me that, making good decisions is a thing of the past. I'm finding that we are allowing the things that we desire influence us to do things that leave a negative residue in our lives. Our desires as human beings hold a vast ocean of opportunities that can lead us in several directions, be it good or bad. But as people who want to live the best life we have to make tough choices and decisions that will positively effect our tomorrow.

I dare not be so presumptuous to give you and example of a bad decision, but is evident that we must take better council than from those that are too fulfilling selfish fleshly driven desires. I will admit I too fall prey to the occasional desire of the mind, but it is in the forever forgiving arms of Jesus that i find peace and forgiveness. His love is able to cover a multitude of sin, no matter what they may be.

So in closing i say this, before we make another decision that will alter our course for the worse please..Pray Or Ask Somebody.

Stop hating

I've notice in my lifetime that most of the time if you are good, great or terrible at something, people will hate on you anyway. Why? In this blog I will attemp to answer this question.

1. Even though you might not be the greatest at what you are doing, folks will hate because they don't have the guts to do what you are doing, even if it does involve you falling flat on your face.

2. Some folks know they are better than you, look better, dress better, or have more money or what ever it is. That's great for them but the part that says your grown is: the fact that what they have and what they can do has nothing with you.

3. Some folks just like attention, so if they hate on people who others admire , some how brings them positive attention...

4. Some folks hate because they have never had anything. Unfortunately they don't know that the way you aquire things in life is to celebrate those who have and eventually those things will come to you. I am a witness.

The bible does say rejoice with them that rejoice not hate on them. Always remember no one wants to be just like a hater.

Okay the snow, in md is ridiculous right now,
We have already had 30inches and we are expecting another 10 - 20 inches over the next 2 days. So what does all of this mean. For you who have not figured it out, this is your chance to start that major project that you have started but have not finished, finish your book, write that song, call those old friends, clean up a little, pray, meditate, collect yourself. Get back in tune who you are, and your life goal. Some of you might need a fresh start, go for it, your future is much better.
