So its a new year...wow.. 2010 went by in a flash. I hope you were able to see some of your dreams and goals realized in the past 365 days. Well if you did not you have a chance to experience the best year of your life. Im learning more and more that every thing that i need in my life i have to declare and speak it.I noticed that when i say something negative, that very negative thing happens...wow, so why cant i speak positive and watch my life bloom into a rose of abundance. Hebrews 6:18 says by two immutable things that it is impossible for God to lie, so if he said it that settles it. 2011 will be the best year we have ever seen for every aspect of our lives.

so far i have been enjoying the holidays.They have been filled with family and sharing, i am enjoying the brief break i am getting from from performing, but that will continue after the new year. My wife was gracious enough to get me a new mac book pro for christmas, which i am using to write this blog.well tomorrow Im back at it with work and music. you pray for me and ill pray for you.

This morning while sitting at my desk, I began to read past blogs on this site. As I read I was surprised that I was able to write such words of wisdom and encouragement. Not to boast but I was blessed by this collection of ideas and concepts of empowerment. While reading I got the idea for today's post.

Some individuals never achieve greatness because they do not believe that what they have is good enough. Please know what you have to offer is what you have to offer. God has entrusted us all with a gift. Your gifting may not be as polished as others but it still has great value. So trust in your Godly ability and talent, and watch as your wildest dreams and aspirations come to past.

For a example take Hip Hop star Solja Boy Tellem, he started with a dream and some cheap music equipment. Not musically talented at all, he produced music that he liked and now he is worth millions of dollars, all because he believed in his own talent. With all that said here is a simple word inspiration. " You Can Do It "

So this weekend was my bday. I was really hopped up on happy. You know how it is when u expect a whole lot. But I realized that I was happy for the wrong reasons. I was happy over things, and did not take time to realize that I have been given a chance to embark on another 25 years of family, friends, relationship, business and most impotantanly growing closer to God. So my thought for today is this. " never get so emersed in something you will receive , that you neglect what you already been given".

It has become more and more apparent to me that, making good decisions is a thing of the past. I'm finding that we are allowing the things that we desire influence us to do things that leave a negative residue in our lives. Our desires as human beings hold a vast ocean of opportunities that can lead us in several directions, be it good or bad. But as people who want to live the best life we have to make tough choices and decisions that will positively effect our tomorrow.

I dare not be so presumptuous to give you and example of a bad decision, but is evident that we must take better council than from those that are too fulfilling selfish fleshly driven desires. I will admit I too fall prey to the occasional desire of the mind, but it is in the forever forgiving arms of Jesus that i find peace and forgiveness. His love is able to cover a multitude of sin, no matter what they may be.

So in closing i say this, before we make another decision that will alter our course for the worse please..Pray Or Ask Somebody.

Stop hating

I've notice in my lifetime that most of the time if you are good, great or terrible at something, people will hate on you anyway. Why? In this blog I will attemp to answer this question.

1. Even though you might not be the greatest at what you are doing, folks will hate because they don't have the guts to do what you are doing, even if it does involve you falling flat on your face.

2. Some folks know they are better than you, look better, dress better, or have more money or what ever it is. That's great for them but the part that says your grown is: the fact that what they have and what they can do has nothing with you.

3. Some folks just like attention, so if they hate on people who others admire , some how brings them positive attention...

4. Some folks hate because they have never had anything. Unfortunately they don't know that the way you aquire things in life is to celebrate those who have and eventually those things will come to you. I am a witness.

The bible does say rejoice with them that rejoice not hate on them. Always remember no one wants to be just like a hater.

Okay the snow, in md is ridiculous right now,
We have already had 30inches and we are expecting another 10 - 20 inches over the next 2 days. So what does all of this mean. For you who have not figured it out, this is your chance to start that major project that you have started but have not finished, finish your book, write that song, call those old friends, clean up a little, pray, meditate, collect yourself. Get back in tune who you are, and your life goal. Some of you might need a fresh start, go for it, your future is much better.

People, people are funny. At one minute they'll have u think u are on top of the world, but as soon as the wind changes it's direction they feel a different way. Placing the foundation of your self-esteem in the hands of people can be detrimental to your succes and growth as a person. In this life continual developement is a must in order to be successful, but u must have a solid look at yourself through the eyes of an individual who is objective. Huh? Well what do u mean? I mean, getting an honest opinion from someone that has nothing to lose from being or not being connected to you, is a great way to determine how you are percieved. So in my conclusion, it is great to have friends but make sure u donnot put your soul , emotional, spiritual and financial developement in there incapable hands. Keep God first.

Think pass today so you can see today clearly

So many of us get caught up in today and we can't see the bigger
picture, while the rest of us think so much about the big picture that
we get nothing done today. Well I wrote this blog from my blackberry
to encourage you to marry your today to your tomorrow so you can have
a productive "right now" . Your situation right now may be bleak, you
may not see any promise in your situation. While others around you
experience success you continue to try to devise a plan that will get
you where u need to be, well STOP!!!!!! What you need is divine
guidance and order. So today spend your time not devising a scheme or
a plan but asking God for help and instuction. Psalms 37:23-26

"Today is a great day"ok say it with me. "Today is a great day". Good, people please understand that what you want in life will happen if you confess it with your mouth. Example this passed Tuesday I preached @ The Harvest in baltimore and at the end of my message I told the church to confess that something good was going to happen to them on Wenesday, long story short I have already received reports of major victories. So todays thought is, don't be negative but elavate your situation with a posistive declaration....Today is great day.

The bible tells us to think on things that are good and lovely, but in todays society it is hard to find an ounce of positivity. We have to remember that life and death is in the power of the tongue so if we think it, we will say it and if we say it will happen. Devoted Prayer

If you were like some of us, going to church and saying you loved God was enough. Until that day when the lord starting tugging at the strings of your heart requiring more of you, wanting you to engage his very throne with you're prayer and worship. At first you tried to resist but but after hearing his voice you had to submit to his way, and pray.

The bible says in 1Thes 5 that men are to pray without ceasing. No not in a physical form of knees bent and hands angle together in the form of a steeple. But having our hearts resemble the posture of prayer and our spirits consistantly interlocked with God will. For some this can be a task, but it can be done. I suggest devote time to God before the clutter of the day, pressures you into your daily tasks and obligations.

RememberGod wants to hear from you, so pick up the spiritual phone and give him a ring, trust me it won't go to voicemail.

Yes or No? You Choose

So today Im at work and i hear the lord talking to me about obedience. Sometimes it can be hard, most of the time when God speaks its more than likely something you have to do that involves you humbling yourself. So i go to the bible for reassurance. The bible says in [1 Samuel 15:22], that "Obedience is Better than Sacrifice ". You mean to tell me God Would rather i obey Him than write a check for $100,000 to Benny Hinn or Creflo Dollar. Sorry to tell you, but yes God Wants your obedience over vain Giving. So God my answer continues to be Yes Yes Yes to your will and way.....
